This time we wnet to Verona. We chose it as many friends told us that Verona is a very beautiful town. The first thing we saw it was the big Arena, the anciend Roman Theatre, the third one for its widness after the colosseum and the the theatre of Capua. This is very famous especially in Summer when the Opera season is held inside

Verona, is different from many other italian towns. In fact it is very lively and crowded at night. The citizens togheter are in the habit to walk after dinner along the main central street: Via mazzini which connects Arena to Piazza dei Signori (here, above...). In Aprile, when we went we met also many turists who enjoyed the night in Verona .

La vera musa di Catullo

 Valerious Catullus is the famous poet of the ancient Romans times. Here I am in Sirmione were he lived and wrote some of his best poetry inspired by the beauty of these places.
